The Weathershield nylon shell is treated with a durable water repellant (DWR) and backed up by a Gore-Tex waterproof breathable insert. A RubberTec palm continues the waterproof theme, and adds excellent abrasion resistance and durability. An external waterproof zippered stash pocket houses a goggle chamois and there are additional goggle and nose wipes located on the thumbs.
