The durable Private Reserve shell withstands harsh impacts against rocky terrain, and Trew Gear placed Superfabric on the instep and cuffs to protect them against ski edges and dirty parking lots. Trew Gear also added a DWR coating to the shell for additional waterproof protection that sheds snowfall off your knees. Inner-thigh vents let out some steam when you hike the tops of powder-capped peaks, and ankle gaiters keep the snow out of your boots while you do it.
