The MemBrain FusionDri shell with fully taped seams is completely waterproof, and the water-resistant front zipper enhances your chances of staying dry in an unexpected rainstorm. The FusionDri technology, which features DriClime mesh bonded to a highly breathable membrane, moves moisture away from your skin extremely quickly, so you don't suffer through the sweat-freeze cycle that mountain athletes experience in high-intensity stop-go activities. If a little extra ventilation is needed, PitZips let out a bit of steam as you rest on the belay stance after an intense pitch. A stretchy nylon shell lets you move freely in this durable jacket, as does Marmot's Angel Wing Movement design. The Ascension features Pack Pockets that are accessible even with a harness or pack on. An adjustable hood with a laminated wire brim stays out of your eyesight when you belay your buddy. Asymmetric cuffs keep the sleeves out of your hands so you can grab those jugs comfortably.
